Langthorne Community Junction
Langthorne Community Junction will benefit local residents and visitors to the nearby Health Centre and School by providing them a meeting place, a break space, and an improved civic identity.
The structural elements of the project will be constructed of brick - a material used extensively in the former Temple Mills Railway works- and the final design will be developed in conjunction with local construction students working with bricklaying techniques. Historically the local area housed many of the Temple Mills workers. The Langthorne Community Junction will acknowledge this rich history and create a place which residents are proud to use.
